Description
UV BLOCKING - a UPF-50 rating that blocks 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. It is not a chemical treatment - it's a mechanical quality of the yarn so the protection won't diminish with washing. It's especially important for our pink-skinned friends!
REDUCE HEAT ABSORPTION - our darker colored pals really benefit from the heat-reflective shade these tees provide! We tested our black Lab, Luke, out in the sun with an infrared thermometer gun and found his fur was more than 40 degrees cooler under the Tee than out!
EVAPORATIVE COOLING - Cool everybody down simply by getting the Tee wet! None of those heavy ice packs or gel inserts. Just comfortable lightweight easy moving tee that won’t get stinky (it’s antimicrobial).

This sun shield tee is PERFECT! I was looking for something to help keep Sophie cool in the sometimes dreadful southern summer heat and this tee works great. It’s lightweight, easy to put on and take off and Sophie is super comfortable! Can’t believe it even helps protect her from the suns harmful rays!

This was great for a warm day of hiking in the sunshine. With all his long hair, Rudy gets hot easy. This was definitely helpful in keeping him cool. It is very lightweight and soft. He kept it on all day.

This is so perfect for spring/summer hikes. Remi gets hot during hikes in spring/summer and we usually use a cooling vest which is a bit bulky and Remi always hates it but we tried this instead and Remi had no problem with it and could care less about it being on him.

We love the sun shield tee! Arrow is super active year-round here in Texas, and when the weather gets warm he overexerts himself. Wearing the sun shield tee helps him stay cooler without restricting his mobility! He wears it when we play frisbee and fetch during the day. The tee is lightweight, soft, stretchy, and keeps him cool. Arrow is a 50 pound, standard Australian Shepherd and wears a size 22. I highly recommend this product!
