Description
UV BLOCKING - a UPF-50 rating that blocks 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. It is not a chemical treatment - it's a mechanical quality of the yarn so the protection won't diminish with washing. It's especially important for our pink-skinned friends!
REDUCE HEAT ABSORPTION - our darker colored pals really benefit from the heat-reflective shade these tees provide! We tested our black Lab, Luke, out in the sun with an infrared thermometer gun and found his fur was more than 40 degrees cooler under the Tee than out!
EVAPORATIVE COOLING - Cool everybody down simply by getting the Tee wet! None of those heavy ice packs or gel inserts. Just comfortable lightweight easy moving tee that won’t get stinky (it’s antimicrobial).

Wear Tip: The center chest seam is designed to be on the outside – we want pets to enjoy maximum comfort, especially in that tender area.
Harness Help: These close fitting pullovers are perfect worn under a harness, with no adjustment needed. No fussing with ill-placed harness openings in this snuggy wonder! Plus, wearing this under a harness has an added benefit of reducing or eliminating chaffing!

I have hairless dogs, & live in AZ. These are light weight, yet durable. great for protecting their skin. If we are going to be outside in the heat I wet them, then put them on the dogs. They really do help keep them cooler. We've got orange, gray, blue, purple, and orange so far. All of the colors look amazing! Keep us looking good, thanks Goldpaw!

This Tee is Pawsome! My blind dog, Stevie Wonder, is a sun lover. He has very sensitive skin, burns easily, gets bothered by flies and has many dark spots that heat up in the sun! This shirt has kept his skin safe from pests and burns. If you dampen it, they will stay even cooler! The tee is soft, luxurious (I wish I had a short like this), extremely well made, very stretchy and comes in fun colors. It also helps with anxiety, as it's a snug fit (not tight). It fits similar to their fleece shirts. Gold Paw is an amazing comoany, with high quality products, and wonderful customer service.... 2 paws up!

These work great! We recently had a heat wave here in San Diego and the sun shield arrived just in time! The fabric is so soft and lightweight. Sure enough, Rocco decided to sunbath in 90+ degree weather on his Coolaroo while wearing the sun shade and he was much cooler underneath and was able to stay outside longer! I love the colors too, they look so good against his coat! This is a great product and recommend it to anyone who lives somewhere with warm/hot weather :)

I have several of these in every color for my sphynx, Pinto. He wears them full time for 1-2 days each wear. When he adopted him he was covered in open wounds and had pre-skin cancer all over his body. These shirts are the best I’ve found for full neck-to-tail sun coverage to protect him from further sun damage. The shirts are also extremely breathable which is great for allowing his wounds to heal. Unlike traditional cotton shirts, he does not scratch at these and actually seems more comfortable in them than he is naked. He wears each shirt for 1-2 days before it gets washed and they have held up extremely well to washing. I just hope they keep coming out with more colors!

the sunshirt is just beautiful! silky soft, so lightweight and lovely. My dog is white, shorthaired, and gets pink very quickly in the sun and i didn't like putting sunscreen on her whole body in case she licks it off. This shirt solves that problem, so now i have no worries while she's sunbathing. Another 2 paws up purchase from Gold Paw Series - thank you!

The sun shield tee is an amazingly soft, stretchy, light n comfy fabric. One of my girls is a dark color n loves to sit in the sun. This is perfect to protect her sensitive skin while out sunbathing and/or on a hike. We will be purchasing another for my other girl. We are very pleased with this product. @fierce_freya
