UV BLOCKING - a UPF-50 rating that blocks 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. It is not a chemical treatment - it's a mechanical quality of the yarn so the protection won't diminish with washing. It's especially important for our pink-skinned friends!
REDUCE HEAT ABSORPTION - our darker colored pals really benefit from the heat-reflective shade these tees provide! We tested our black Lab, Luke, out in the sun with an infrared thermometer gun and found his fur was more than 40 degrees cooler under theTee than out!
EVAPORATIVE COOLING - Cool everybody down simply by getting the Tee wet! None of those heavy ice packs or gel inserts. Just comfortable lightweight easy moving tee that won’t get stinky (it’s antimicrobial).

Hello Sunshine!
So happy with this super lightweight, comfy, well-made tee! My 85# black greyhound mix really struggles in the heat and this has made him noticeably happier on sunny walks and hikes. I don't know for sure how much it lowers his surface temp but when he's wearing it dry he behaves as if it's about 15 degrees cooler than it is. (We have yet to try it wet.) I initially ordered Size 26; it fit his 33.5" chest perfectly and covered his 30" back to just above his tail. While it fit well, I ultimately exchanged it for a Custom 26 due to his noodly composition, adding an extra 2" of back length so it hangs over his tail slightly and keeps it from riding up, plus the 8" turtleneck since his crazy-long neck exposes a lot of black fur. The result is perfect. It's the first garment he's had in his nine years that actually covers everything it's meant to! Will definitely order at least one more this season as I suspect he'll be wearing these almost daily. Highly recommend!

Sun Shield Tee - Excellent
Poppy loves this shirt because it is easy on and easy off. Her momma likes this shirt because the pup has dark hair, get very hot in the summer, and needs every bit of assitance being comfortable. Also, whe Poppy wears it there's less exposure for ticks to attach!

I bought a size 8 for my Japanese Chin, 6 lbs. it fit perfect . He has a bald spit on his back and this tee offers sun protection . I would like to buy a yellow one when the color becomes available.

We love the summer tees and the fleece sweaters. Hopefully you’ll be getting new colors in the summer tees as we have at least two of all the colors you had . Our Cavalier wears a tee shirt everyday!!

My toy poodles wear these all summer. They fit well and are easy to get on them. I wish Gold Paw would make some fun printed ones like they made a couple summers ago. We are buying the purple ones today.

Love the sun shield!
Bought this for the same cat that I bought the fleece for. She is a Persian and has skin issues so we shaved her and I didn’t want her to be cold and with the sun shield it’s lighter and can be worn in summer. Love it. I have bought these for my dogs and love them!
