Sun Shield Tee

Unfortunately, it didn't work out. It kept riding halfway up his back - whether it was from a breeze, or his shaking around, out for a walk, scratching himself, even sleeping. I got in touch with the company and they said given his measurements, I got the right size, so that wasn't the problem. I think it's just a faulty product. In all the photos I saw of this product online, the tee looked like it sat nicely towards the dogs' tails but in reality, it doesn't. Even in the photo I'm submitting, the tee rides up even higher on his back. I'm going to try to jerry-rig something with elastic around his legs somehow and see if that helps. It's a great color and looks really cute just as long as your dog stays perfectly still and doesn't move.

I purchased a thin black brown spotted coat without sleeves, size 10 at a Pet Store as it looked like something she would be comfortable in and would just fit under the harness. When I looked up Goldpaw, I noticed these are sun protected shirts and I was excited to find such an item. We walk when it is convenient, so it might not always be the best time of the day and the hot sun rays were drawn to her black coat. I thought that a size 12 would fit better than a size 10 as it fits a bit snug, but not at all tight. But then I read where the shirts are supposed to fit a little snug to help with anxiety, I was thinking someone for that help. SThe Store clerk tried it on and it fit perfect and I noticed Goldpaw sizing chart suggests the same size for Min Pins. She weighs 13.4 pounds now, so I am hoping when she loses to 10, 11, or 12 pounds that the shirts will still fit. Otherwise, I would purchase more now to have a variety. I purchased the pastel purple and pastel coral sleeve shirts. Min Pin and I LOVE these shirts. I also let her wear them to bed; just whenever she wants. She especially has the shirt on when we go for walks and riding in the car and the best feature is that it fits underneath her harness without bulk. I noticed in the other reviewers dogs, that the shirts are a looser fit than the shirt on my dog. Maybe that is the reason why the shirt rides up to the middle of the dogs body. My Min Pins shirt is flipped up by the wind just at the tail's end as the shirt goes a little beyond her tail. I wish I could send a picture. I will try. I might have to come back because with my iPhone it takes a day for the picture to show up in the quene.

I needed a breathable shirt for my allergy dog. These sunshield tees fit the bill perfectly. Thank you.

A lightweight stretchy soft material, fits my dog well, good quality - what more could you ask for?

Sun Tee's give great protection out here in South Africa, especially as my dog is bald across his back and they are also easy to put on.

The sun shield tee is still great quality and works well in terms of sun protection. The only issue is that it fits properly in top off of my little one and loos toward is lower back so it often lifts up and I have to pull it down.

This is our second one and our rescue flat coated retriever learned quickly how to help us put it on him. His black coat can be an issue in the Florida sun. We use this shirt to protect his skin from his scratching. Only wish it had short sleeves since he can easily get to that area.

fits perfectly for my Silken Windsprite

Originally I bought one now we have almost all the colors. I love the fact the material is stretchy so there’s no struggle to get it on or off. It’s breathable material and my Louie doesn’t fuss to take it off. He’s a little long and it covers just enough to keep him safe. He’s also a leg lifter and thanks to the way it’s made there have been not tinkle on the shirt. I feel better knowing his skin is protected as he’s a yorkie with thin hair. Highly recommend these.
