Duluth Double Fleece

The size 8 was too small for my 6lb Chihuahua ... Had to return it. Order a size or 2 up

I got these for both of my dogs and they’re great. They fit the dogs well and look good. The stretchiness is just enough to make the sweaters easy to put on, but they don’t get all shapeless. They make a good layer on a REALLY cold day or a standalone garment on chilly days. I like that they’re reversible and you get 2 likes for the price of 1. Winner!

We bought 2 of these and they are wonderful. Easy to put on and seem to keep our dogs warm. The fit for our smallest bulldog-45lbs is perfect. The fit for our larger bulldog-63lbs is great around him, but a little long in the back. Luckily it is does not cover too much of the business area, so it stays out of the way. I would recommend these! I would love to see them made in differing lengths (but the same circumference), so that I can get a better fit on a big chested short bodied baked potato of a bulldog.

I have had several Chihuahuas over the years and the Duluth Double Fleece was one item I never gave away after their passing. I have one that is over a decade old, and it still looks nearly new. My current rescue Chi wears a size 10 and she is 9# and deep chested. My granddog is 10# but more slender and a 10 fits her too. Our Chi’s have several Duluth Fleece to stay warm in Minnesota winters. The stretchable fabric is wonderful and washes up perfectly. I always air dry them.

I ordered a size 12 double fleece coat for my 12 pound chihuahua mix. I based this on the same coat I got her from Gold Paw about 4-5 years ago. I feel like the new one runs a little smaller, but it is quite a bit thicker than the older one. (Both double fleece.) I would suggest ordering one size up. Overall, the quality and fit is excellent. My dog gets cold easily, so a perfect coat for a chilly spring or fall day, and as an added layer under her winter coat. :)

Cuddly, soft, warm, stretchy and the size 12 fits my 13 pound Westie/Yorkie mix perfectly. My 8 pound Yorkie fits in the size 8. Only winter sweater s I will buy. They last for years. I keep adding colors to our wardrobe.

Love this fleece! Excellent for chilly weather. It runs a little smaller than the regular fleeces, I found. I sized up to an 18 for my 40 lb. AmStaff and that was the perfect fit.
